Three family members killed Easter weekend by drunk driver
Visit The Last Show at www.myspace.com HILLSVILLE, Va. — Three North Carolina residents were killed in a head-on collision on Interstate 77 near the Virginia-North Carolina border. State police said the driver of a southbound pickup truck lost control, crossed the median and struck a sport utility vehicle shortly before noon Saturday (March 22, 2008) The three people in the SUV were killed. Police identified them as 45-year-old Jorge Alberto Guerra and 45-year-old Isa E. Dollyhigh, both of Greensboro, NC, and 73-year-old Coleen Huffman Dollyhigh of Mount Airy, NC State police Sgt. MT Conroy said all five occupants of the pickup truck were injured, but none of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening. The driver, Gary Edward Hicinbothem, 46, of Pilot Mountain, NC, was airlifted to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
